In a world of employees jumping from one company to the next, McDonald's has a woman that genuinely represents growing from the bottom to the top after 34 years. Beatrice Covarrubias put on her McDonald’s uniform as a 16-year-old high school student for the first time. She gained valuable experiences in her early years of working with the company. Beatrice learned the importance of customer service, punctuality, and prioritizing responsibilities while juggling academics and sports.
Beatrice attended Hamburger University, a training facility at the McDonald’s Corporation global headquarters, where she continued gaining new leadership skills. Beatrice has worked her way up the ladder from Swing Manager to Assistant Manager and then to her current role as a General Manager.
She has been married for 30 years, a mother of five, a grandma of nine grandchildren, and is still running the McDonald's in Kingsville where she started at age 16.
